In the fall of 2007, Bellarmine University dedicated the $5.1 million Owsley B. Frazier Stadium on campus. Seating approximately 2,000, this state-of-the-art facility is the home of Bellarmine's men and women's soccer programs, men’s and women’s track and field, women's field hockey, and men's lacrosse. The artificial field surface, named after Joseph P. and Janet A. Clayton, was installed by the Motz Group. This is the same "24/7" surface that is found at the homes of the Miami Dolphins and University of Kentucky.

Fitting right into the scenic rolling hills of Bellarmine’s campus, Owsley B. Frazier Stadium features a fully fenced-in field with stone brick construction. The stadium’s primary communal area was named after the Lacrosse program’s founding coach, Jack McGetrick, in February of 2010, and now serves as host to the stadium’s locker rooms, concessions, and restrooms. The plaza is highlighted by a clock tower and the stadium’s scoreboard, which is properly equipped for each of the programs that call Owsley B. Frazier Stadium home.

The stadium features bleacher-style individual seats with backs. All seating is located in the back of the stadium, providing a clear and full view of all components of Clayton Field. Behind the center row of seating you will find the 800+ square foot press box, outfitted with all the necessary tools to produce high quality live content and commentary.

The track facilities include an eight-lane, dual-durometer, polyurethane poured surface provided by the Benyon Sport Surfaces, as well as three long jump pits, two pole vault areas, a high jump pit, and a water steeplechase pool. In May 2010 a throw area was added across Newburg Road which includes two throwing areas for shot put, javelin, discus, and hammer throws.

Owsley B. Frazier Stadium made its debut to the national stage in December of 2010 when Bellarmine and the Louisville Sports Commission hosted the 2010 NCAA D-II Fall Festival. During the festival the semi-finals and finals of both the men’s and women’s soccer were held at the stadium and shown nationally on the CBS College Sports Network.

In May 2012, Owsley B. Frazier Stadium returned to the national stage as it hosted the semi-finals and finals of the NCAA D-II women’s lacrosse championship in conjunction with the Spring Championship Festival, also hosted by Bellarmine and the Louisville Sports Commission.
